Dare to Enter Amelia Asylum
Amelia Asylum opened its doors in 1893.

For decades, rumors followed the hospital. Missing patients. Unexplained incidents. Locked corridors. Records that disappeared without explanation. The asylum eventually closed in the early 1950s, but some say not everyone left.
Â
This fall, the gates open again.
Â
Amelia Frightfest takes you into the story with a haunted trail through the woods filled with unsettling characters, terrifying encounters, and surprises waiting in the darkness.

This is not just a walk through a haunted house. You are entering Amelia Asylum.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT FRIGHTFEST
An Outdoor Haunted Experience
Amelia Frightfest takes place along a wooded trail, creating an immersive environment unlike a traditional haunted house.
Live Characters
You never know who, or what may be waiting around the next corner.
Before you enter
Amelia Frightfest is an outdoor haunted trail, so dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.

The experience may include darkness, sudden scares, loud noises, flashing or theatrical lighting, uneven terrain, and close encounters with reformers.

Please review all event information and policies before arrival.
A Story that Unfolds Around You
The patients, staff, incidents, and mysteries of Amelia Asylum are woven through the experience.
Special Events throughout the season
There is more than one way to experience Frightfest. Check out our calendar of events to see all the things we have planned for your arrival.
The Patients are Waiting.
The doors may have been locked, and the records buried, but Amelia Asylum never truly closed.
